Website Integration
Law firm website integration: your site is where intake starts
A law firm website is the first step of intake, not a brochure in front of it. Law firm website integration means every form, call and booking on the site reaches the people who answer inquiries, at any hour, from any phone.
Built by a former paralegal who is also a software engineer. We work on the site you already have, or build one that is connected from day one.
Legal Systems Health CheckWhere inquiries die before anyone sees them
A law firm website loses inquiries in five places: capture, booking, after-hours response, mobile performance, and tracking. Most firm websites are built by designers and never connected to intake, so forms send to unmonitored inboxes and calls cannot be traced to their source. Clio's 2024 secret-shopper study of 500 firms found only 33% replied to an emailed inquiry. SourcePro Consultants checks a site against a 20-point standard across those five areas.
It is 9:40pm. Someone has just decided they need a lawyer, and they are looking on their phone. They land on a practice area page with no form on it. The phone number is text rather than a link, so tapping it does nothing. The contact page asks for fourteen fields. They fill in six, give up, and go back to the results.
Nothing about that firm’s website looks broken. It looks finished. The inquiry is gone anyway, and nobody at the firm will ever know it existed.
Only 33% of firms replied to an emailed inquiry, and 40% answered the phone.
A site that sends inquiries somewhere nobody is watching is part of that number, not a bystander to it.
How most law firm websites get built
A designer is hired to make the firm look credible. The brief is pages, photographs and a contact form. Intake is not in the conversation, because the people who answer inquiries are not in the room. So the form emails a shared inbox, “book a consultation” means “call us”, and once the site launches nobody owns it.
This is not a criticism of designers. They delivered what was asked for. The problem is that nobody asked for intake.
What law firm website integration actually changes
A law firm website is the first step of intake, not a brochure in front of it. Every form, call and booking reaches the people who answer inquiries, and arrives on a record carrying the page and campaign it came from.
Form
Practice area page
Call
Tracked number
Booking

The firm can then see which pages produce signed matters rather than which pages produce visits. What happens after the inquiry lands — the follow-up, the qualifying, the move to a signed retainer — is covered on CRM & Intake.
Your existing site, or a new one
Most firms buy the site and the connection together, because a firm coming to us is not coming for a brochure. A website build can be bought on its own, and an existing site can be connected without rebuilding anything. Opening a firm of your own? The site is one of ten setup decisions on Starting a New Firm.
The site you already have
Most firms do not need a rebuild. We connect the forms, booking and tracking on the site you own — whatever it was built on — and fix whatever fails the standard below. The design stays yours.
- No rebuild, no migration, no new platform to learn
- Works on an existing site however it was built
- Most of the 20 checks are fixable without touching the design

A new site, connected from launch
When a site cannot be fixed economically, we build a new one on our own stack, with a page and an intake form for each practice area, connected to intake from the day it goes live.
- A page and its own intake form for each practice area
- Built mobile-first, measured against the same 20 checks
- Connected at launch rather than retrofitted afterwards

Opening a new firm? Start with a site that is already connected
A new firm usually needs a website before it has a single client, and the first version tends to be a brochure with a contact form that emails whoever set it up. If you are building from scratch, the better order is to choose the look you want and have the forms, booking and tracking wired to intake before the site goes live.
These six sites show the range of looks a new firm can start from. They are examples from other template makers, not our templates and not client work. Yours is built for your practice areas and your brand, not copied from any of them. Each card opens the maker’s live demo in a new tab.

Lead Capture & Forms
Answer for the site you have today. Not sure counts as missing — if nobody can confirm it, nobody is maintaining it.

Lead Capture & Forms
- Every practice area page has its own way to inquire, not only a general contact page.
- Forms work properly on a phone: the right keyboard opens for phone and email, and an incomplete form cannot be sent.
- Before a form is sent, it shows the firm's own disclaimer, in wording the firm's attorney has approved.
- After sending, the visitor sees what happens next and when, instead of a dead end.
Booking & Scheduling
- A consultation can be booked on the site itself, not only by calling.
- Booking is offered where intent is highest: on practice area pages and on the confirmation screen after a form is sent.
- The booking asks for the practice area and the few facts intake needs, so no consultation is booked blind.
Response & Availability
- A visitor who arrives outside office hours can still act (book, chat or request a callback) and is told when they will hear back.
- A chat on the site answers common questions from the firm's own content and hands off to booking or a person.
- The phone number is tappable on a phone on every page, and it is the tracked number, so calls from the site can be traced to their source.
Technical & Mobile
- Mobile pages pass Google's Core Web Vitals thresholds, checked in PageSpeed Insights.
- Every page works on a phone: no sideways scrolling, text readable without zooming, and buttons big enough to tap.
- Someone keeps the site up to date: the platform and plugins are updated and the security certificate renews on its own.
- Backups run on a schedule, and a restore has been tested at least once.
- Someone is alerted within minutes when the site goes down, instead of hearing it from a prospect.
SEO & Tracking
- Every page has its own title, description and structured data, not just the homepage.
- Search Console is verified and the sitemap is submitted, so indexing problems show up instead of going unnoticed.
- The Google Business Profile is claimed, verified and matches the site's name, address and phone.
- Analytics counts inquiries as conversions (form submissions, calls from the site and bookings), not just visits.
- Forms pass the page and campaign an inquiry came from onto the record.
On the disclaimer: A website that invites visitors to submit information can create duties to a prospective client, so the warning has to be there and has to be readable. ABA Formal Opinion 10-457, Lawyer Websites. We build the placement; your attorney writes the wording.
On speed: Main content loads within 2.5 seconds, the page answers a tap within 200 milliseconds, and the layout does not jump while it loads. Google, Core Web Vitals thresholds.
